Austral Resources is a copper producer operating in Queensland Gulf Country. We currently produce LME quality copper cathode, are developing a new open pit copper mine, and have 1,340 km2 of highly prospective exploration tenements. The company is currently seeking an ASX listing.

Austral Resources mining projects consist of large oxide copper resources. Austral Resources is currently developing the Anthill open pit mine which will utilise a contract fleet of excavators and trucks for mining and a road train fleet to deliver the ore to the Mt Kelly processing plant. The ore is then processed using a heap leaching operation comprising of agglomeration / stacking / heap leach / Solvent Extraction (SX) / Electrowinning (EW) to produce LME grade A copper cathode.
